This is of course hot on the heels of Federal Finance Minister Penny Wong who has announced she is expecting a child with her partner. There has of course been much debate recently about Labor’s stance on gay marriage. As any proud soon to be parent would be Wong and partner are extremely excited. “Like any expecting parents, the prospect of welcoming this child into our lives fills us both with joy,” she said.
